Out now: Digital Content Quarterly issue 2

DCQ spring 2010 coverFollowing the successful launch of Digital Content Quarterly at the start of the year (and you can still download the launch issue), we’re delighted to bring you the second issue of the Strategic Content Alliance’s interactive magazine.

This time DCQ is themed around the current hot topic of ‘open’ – open content, open education resources, open data. It includes features from John Sheridan (Head of e-Services and Strategy at the Office of Public Sector) on the nuts and bolts of linked data; and Ahrash Bissell (Consultant to the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation on innovation in education and science and former executive director of CC Learn) who provides a thought-provoking look at the challenges and benefits of Open Educational Resources. The big interview is with Diane Lees, Director General of the Imperial War Museum, on her vision of the musuem of the future. You can also watch part of the interview as a video.

As always, the magazine also offers a news round-up of digital content issues from around the world and must-read columns from the Strategic Content Alliance’s digital experts.

Please do pass on the magazine to your colleagues and feel free to twitter, blog, bookmark, email and disseminate as widely as possible. We’d love to know what you think, so if you have any comments on features, suggestions for future issues or would like more information, don’t hesitate to contact us.
